What makes a good TH10 trophy base

Trophy bases defend while you are offline, against attackers who did not choose you deliberately - they are skipping through a list looking for an easy village. That changes the priority: you want an attacker to move on rather than to lose slowly. A centred Town Hall denies the cheap one-star snipe, splash defences cover the approach lanes, and traps sit where a rushed army walks rather than where it would if someone had scouted. This is where the standard armies arrive. Attackers bring hog riders, lava hounds and bowlers, a filled Clan Castle and heroes worth using, so compartment layout starts to matter more than the level of any single defence.

About Town Hall 10

  • Town Hall 10 unlocks Inferno Tower, Freeze Spell, so layouts here have to find room for them without opening up the core.
  • Army camps hold 240 housing space at this level, which is what an attacker can bring against these bases.
