What makes a good BH5 base
Builder Base battles are timed, and an attack that runs out of time ends where it stands. So a layout that wastes the attacker's time can beat one with stronger defences. Compartments make Wall Breakers open sections one at a time, and the troops from the Guard Post pull the attacking army off its path when they come out. By now attackers have most of the Builder Base troops and know which ones beat which layouts, so where the Guard Post and the traps go decides more battles than defence levels do.
