What makes a good TH18 farming base
A farming base protects storages, not trophies. The Gold and Elixir Storages sit in the middle and the Dark Elixir Storage deepest of all, while the Town Hall is often left outside the walls. You accept losing some trophies, because while you are upgrading the loot matters more than your place in the league. Attackers at this level bring heroes with equipment, siege machines and enough spells to take out any single defence, and they plan around what they scout. A base here holds up by spreading its strength, not by guarding one strong point.
