What makes a good BH8 base

The Builder Base plays by different rules. Versus Battles are one-on-one and time-limited, and they are decided on stars first and destruction percentage second - which means a layout that wastes the attacker's clock wins fights a tankier one loses. Compartments force wall-breakers to open sections one at a time, and the Guard Post matters more than any single defence, because the troops it releases pull an army off its path at the moment it mattered. At the top of the Builder Base, both players usually have maxed troops, so battles are decided on time and percentage. Layouts that stall an army - long walls, awkward angles, a Guard Post that pulls troops off-path - win the fights that a tankier base loses.
