The Builder Base has no loot raids and no clan wars. Battles are versus battles, decided by stars and destruction percentage, so a layout's only job is to let the attacker get as little of both as possible.

What makes a good Builder Base layout
- Spread the damage: keep strong defences apart so one spell or one push cannot take out several at once.
- Protect the Builder Hall: losing it gives the attacker a star, so put it where troops reach it late.
- Plan for both stages: from Builder Hall 6 a battle has two stages, and a base that collapses after the first gives away easy destruction.
- Use your level's buildings: each Builder Hall level adds defences, so pick a layout made for yours.
Why Builder Base layouts are sorted by level only
Home village layouts are split into war, trophy and farming bases because each of those modes asks something different of a base. The Builder Base has one mode, so one good layout per level is enough. You can only copy a layout at the Builder Hall level it was built for, so start from your level's page.

How do I copy a Builder Base layout?
Open the layout's page on a phone that has Clash of Clans installed and tap Copy Link. The game opens with the layout, which you save to one of your layout slots before choosing where to use it. You can only copy a layout at the Town Hall or Builder Hall level it was built for.
Why are Builder Hall bases not sorted into war, farming or trophy?
The Builder Base has no clan wars and no loot raids. Attacks are versus battles decided by stars and destruction percentage, so we sort layouts by Builder Hall level only.
Do I need an account to copy bases?
