Capital Hall 10 is the summit. Every district unlocked, from the Barbarian Camp all the way to the Goblin Mines, and the long communal grind of Capital Gold contributions finally complete. If your clan has reached it, take a moment: a maxed Capital is one of the clearest proofs of sustained teamwork in all of Clash of Clans.
Then comes the natural question: now what? Without upgrades to fund, some clans drift, attack usage slips, and the Capital that took a year to build becomes a ghost town. It does not have to go that way. The endgame Capital is where Raid Weekends become pure sport: medals, leagues, mastery, and mentoring. This guide covers how maxed clans keep the mountain alive.
Your Priorities Flip at the Top
During the climb, everything served progression: gold funded upgrades, upgrades unlocked power, and Raid Weekends existed to feed the machine. At Capital Hall 10, the machine is built, and your priorities invert:
- Raid Medals become the main prize. With no districts left to fund, weekends now pay your members directly through Trader purchases that accelerate their home villages.
- Defense becomes a craft, not a checkbox. Your defenses are maxed, so layout quality is now the only defensive variable left, and it is entirely in your hands.
- League standing becomes the scoreboard. Capital Trophies and your league are how a maxed clan measures itself, and higher leagues pay better medals to every member.
- People become the project. With nothing left to build, the thing you develop is your raiders.
Turn Defense into Your Competitive Edge
At the top, everyone has the same buildings at the same levels. The clans that defend well are the ones that out-design their opponents, weekend after weekend. Defensive Raid Medals scale with how many enemy attacks your districts absorb, so at Capital Hall 10 your layouts are literally a passive income generator running at maximum potential.
Make layout iteration a standing leadership routine. Only Leaders and Co-Leaders can edit Capital layouts, so give the job to whoever enjoys it most. After each weekend, read the defense log: which district fell fastest, where the first breach opened, which trap lanes were avoided. Change one thing per district per week and track whether survival improves. Endgame attackers are skilled and observant, so rotate trap placements and vary your compartment shapes before repeat opponents memorize them. If you want a refresher on the fundamentals, our district defense design guide applies doubly at max level, and giving special attention to your Peak is covered in our Capital Peak defense guide.
Push Leagues with Intention
League pushing is the natural endgame sport. Climbing requires winning on both sides of Raid Weekend: full offensive clears to gain trophies and stubborn defenses to keep them. A deliberate push looks like this:
- Get attack usage to near 100 percent. Every member has five attacks, plus the bonus attack for destroying a district with their last hit. At the top, unused attacks are the difference between climbing and stalling.
- Sequence your attackers. Strongest players open hard districts and handle enemy Capital Peaks; newer raiders clean softened targets. Everyone contributes, and nothing is wasted on ego.
- Chase full clears on every enemy Capital. Completion pays bonus loot and maximizes trophy gain, and at max level your armies always have the tools for it.
- Defend the climb. Every league you rise, opponents get sharper. Expect to tune layouts more aggressively the higher you go, and treat a defensive slump as a design problem to solve, not bad luck.
Find the league where your clan wins slightly more than it loses and enjoy the fight there. The goal is a level of competition that keeps weekends exciting, not a rank that burns everyone out.
Become a Teaching Clan
A maxed Capital is a flight school. Your clan has every troop unlocked at full power, which makes it the perfect environment for players to master armies they could never practice in a developing clan. Encourage members to experiment on cleanup attacks, run casual internal challenges like themed army weekends, and talk through Peak attacks in chat before they happen.
Mentoring also solves the endgame's biggest risk: drift. Members who are learning something stay engaged, and engaged members show up on weekends. Some maxed clans even recruit promising newer players specifically to train them, turning the Capital's finished infrastructure into a genuine recruiting advantage.
Make Medal Spending a Perk of Membership
With progression finished, the Raid Medals your weekends generate are the clearest ongoing benefit of belonging to your clan, so treat them like one. Remind members what the Trader offers and encourage deliberate spending: builder-focused magic items when home-village upgrades are the bottleneck, bulk resources when a big purchase is close, and patience over impulse buys early in the week. A maxed clan that frames its weekends as "we fund each other's home villages now" gives every member a concrete, personal reason to keep showing up on Friday.
Keep the Gold Flowing Anyway
Capital Gold does not stop arriving just because construction stopped, and forge habits should not die either. Contributions still matter for the members themselves, since contributing is tied to personal progression rewards, and a culture of daily forging is worth preserving in case future updates raise the ceiling again. Games grow; clans that kept their habits sharp adapt to new content immediately, while clans that let routines decay spend months rebuilding them.
Making It Work for Your Clan
Capital Hall 10 is not the end of the Clan Capital; it is the point where the Capital stops being a construction site and becomes an arena. Sharpen your layouts, push leagues at a pace your clan enjoys, teach your raiders, and keep the weekend habit alive. The clans that thrive after maxing are the ones that decide what the mountain is for next.
Endgame opponents punish every layout flaw, so keep your defenses current with our library of Clan Capital base layouts, built and tested for every Capital Hall level up to 10.
