Town Hall 19 has no release date. Supercell has confirmed the level is in development, but as of 19 October 2026 it has not said when it arrives, what it costs or what it unlocks, and it has not posted a sneak peek. Any site giving you a specific date is guessing.

Most of what you find when you search for TH19 is that guessing. Below, every claim is marked as either something Supercell has said or something the community, including us, has inferred.
Is Town Hall 19 real?
Yes. The Clash of Clans team has talked about Town Hall 19 openly in interviews (listed under Sources at the end), so its existence comes from Supercell itself rather than from a leak or a data-mine.
The date, the new Town Hall weapon, the hero and building level caps and the upgrade costs are all still unconfirmed.
When is Town Hall 19 coming out?
Nobody outside Supercell knows. There is no official date.
The best guide is when the last Town Halls actually shipped. These dates come from Supercell's own release notes:

Two things stand out. Since Town Hall 16 the gap has settled at just under a year, and Supercell's game designer said in August 2026 that the plan is still a new Town Hall roughly every twelve months. And the last two Town Halls both landed on a Monday in the second half of November.
If that holds, a Monday in the second half of November 2026 (the 16th, 23rd or 30th) would fit, with early December as the fallback. That is our reading of the pattern, not a Supercell statement, and the pattern has broken before: Town Hall 15 to Town Hall 16 took fourteen months.
Supercell also tends to show a new level shortly before it ships: it previewed Town Hall 16 on its blog on 6 December 2023, six days before the update. Until a Town Hall 19 preview appears, we would not expect a release within days.
What Supercell has said
These points come from two interviews with the Clash of Clans team on the Judo Sloth 2 YouTube channel in summer 2026, not from a patch note. Each one says how firm it is.
- Guardians will move off the Town Hall. Game designer Alex said the Guardians will exist separately from the Town Hall at Town Hall 19. The team has not decided the form yet: a dedicated building, something like a flag, or something else.
- You will not need maxed Guardians to upgrade. Guardians will not be required for the Town Hall 19 upgrade, and you keep your existing Guardian progress.
- Merged defences should become less dominant. The aim is that older merged defences stop being the obvious choice once stronger options arrive.
- Older troops are meant to matter again. Community manager Ferri said Town Hall 19 should make older troops interesting again. He did not say which troops, or how.
- A second Laboratory researcher is under consideration. It is not confirmed, and it may come as part of merging the Pet House into the Laboratory.
- Builder Base and Clan Capital get smaller fixes. For both, the plan is targeted quality-of-life changes like the recent loot increases, not a big update.
What is rumour
Each of these appears in coverage, but each is inference, concept art or a guess from the release cadence, not something Supercell said. Most TH19 news right now is like this, and most so-called TH19 leaks are fan concept art or a rewording of the points above.
- A launch on a specific day. Every exact date you see is extrapolated from previous releases, including ours above.
- A new Town Hall weapon. Likely, since the Guardians are leaving the Town Hall, but Supercell has not said what replaces them.
- New levels for Barbarians, Wizards, Giants and Hog Riders. This is a guess at what "older troops" means; no troop has been named.
- A dinosaur or primal theme, read from concept art and scenery hints.
- Specific new hero levels, spell levels, wall tiers or trap types. Some Town Hall 19 articles list these, openly as their author's own predictions.
- Any upgrade cost or build time. No figures have been published, so any you see are invented.
What about Town Hall 19 base layouts?
There are none yet, and there cannot be until the update ships.
A base layout is a specific arrangement of buildings at specific levels. Nobody can build one before we know what the new Town Hall weapon does, how many defences the level adds and where the extra walls go. Any site showing TH19 layouts today is showing a TH18 base with a new label, or an image generated to look like one.
When the update lands, we will build TH19 war, farming, trophy and hybrid layouts the same way we build every other level: tested, tied to the actual hall level, with working copy links.
Until then, the layouts that matter most on day one are the current top-level ones, because TH19 bases will grow out of TH18 designs:

How to prepare for Town Hall 19
With no costs or caps published, the useful advice is the same advice that held before every previous Town Hall release.
- Finish your walls. They are the longest part of any upgrade path and the first thing that holds people back after a new level lands.
- Bank Builder Potions and hammers instead of spending them on the last few TH18 upgrades.
- Do not rush the Lab. If older troops really are being reworked, research priorities may change on release day.
- Max what you have. Every previous Town Hall has rewarded players who arrive with a finished base more than players who arrive early.
