Town Hall 19 Release Date: What's Confirmed and What's Rumour

Quick Summary

Town Hall 19 has no announced release date. Here is what Supercell has actually confirmed about TH19, what is only rumour, and why no real TH19 base layouts exist yet.

Town Hall 19 has no release date. Supercell has confirmed the level is in development, but as of 12 September 2026 the company has not announced when it arrives, what it costs, or what it unlocks. Anyone telling you a specific date is guessing.

That guessing is most of what you will find searching for this, so this page does something narrower and more useful: it separates what Supercell has actually said from what the community has inferred, and labels which is which on every claim.

Is Town Hall 19 real?

Yes. Town Hall 19 is confirmed to be in development. That much is not a leak or a data-mine — it has been discussed openly, and the reporting on it is consistent across sources.

What has not been confirmed is everything people actually want to know: the date, the new Town Hall weapon, the hero and building level caps, and the upgrade costs.

When is Town Hall 19 coming out?

There is no official date. The honest answer to "when is TH19 releasing" is that nobody outside Supercell knows.

The widely repeated estimate is November or December 2026. That number is not from Supercell. It comes from pattern-matching the previous three Town Hall releases, which commentators place in December 2023, November 2024 and November 2025 respectively — roughly a twelve-month cadence that would put the next one at the end of this year.

That reasoning is sound as far as it goes, and it is still just reasoning. Supercell has shifted release windows before, and one of the sources below explicitly allows for early 2027 if balancing runs long. Treat late 2026 as the most likely window, not a date to plan around.

What Supercell has actually said

These points are attributed to Supercell in the sources listed at the end — via developer communication and creator interviews rather than a formal patch note. They are the closest thing to solid ground available right now.

  • Guardians move off the Town Hall. The Guardian mechanic is reported to be moving to dedicated buildings or Hero Flags rather than living on the Town Hall itself.
  • You will not need maxed Guardians to upgrade. Guardian progress is reported as not required for the TH19 upgrade, and no existing progress is lost.
  • The Town Hall weapon will be something new. Confirmed as new, and not yet revealed.
  • Classic troops are being pulled back into the meta. Barbarians, Wizards, Giants and Hog Riders are reported as getting attention, with higher-level versions aimed at competitive play. No mechanics have been shared.
  • Laboratory changes. A second researcher, and pets moving into the Lab.
  • Merged defences get softened. Older merged defences are reported to be toned down.
  • Builder Base and Clan Capital are quiet. No major content planned for either in this cycle.

What is rumour, not confirmation

Each of these appears in coverage but is inference, concept art or cadence-fitting — not a Supercell statement. Most TH19 news circulating right now is of this kind, and most so-called TH19 leaks are either fan concept art or a rewording of the points above.

  • A December 2026 launch. Extrapolated from previous release timing.
  • A dinosaur or primal theme. Read from concept art and scenery hints.
  • Specific new hero levels, spell levels, wall tiers or trap types. One source lists these openly as the author's own predictions.
  • Any upgrade cost or build time. No figures have been published. Any you see are invented.

What about Town Hall 19 base layouts?

They do not exist, and they cannot exist yet.

A base layout is a specific arrangement of specific buildings at specific levels. Until TH19 ships and we know what the new Town Hall weapon does, how many defences the level adds, and where the extra walls go, a "TH19 base" is a picture of nothing. Any site showing you TH19 layouts today is showing you a TH18 base with a new label, or an image generated to look like one.

When the update lands we will build TH19 war, farming, trophy and hybrid layouts the same way we build every other level — tested, tied to the actual hall level, with working copy links.

In the meantime, the layouts that will matter most on day one are the current top-level ones, because TH19 bases evolve from TH18 designs rather than appearing from nowhere:

How to prepare for Town Hall 19

Without costs or caps published, the only preparation advice worth giving is the boring kind that has been correct before every previous Town Hall release.

  • Finish your walls. Walls are the longest tail on any upgrade path and the first thing that holds people back after a new level lands.
  • Bank Builder Potions and hammers rather than spending them on the last few TH18 upgrades.
  • Do not rush the Lab. If classic troops really are getting higher-level versions, research priorities may shift on release day.
  • Max what you have. Every previous Town Hall has rewarded arriving with a finished base more than arriving early.

Frequently asked questions

Is Town Hall 19 out yet?

No. It is in development with no announced release date.

When does Town Hall 19 come out in Clash of Clans?

No official date exists. Community estimates point to late 2026 based on previous release timing, but Supercell has not confirmed anything.

How long until Town Hall 19?

Unknown. If the roughly annual pattern holds, months rather than weeks — but that pattern is an observation, not a schedule.

What will Town Hall 19 look like?

Not revealed. The Town Hall weapon is confirmed to be new, and its appearance has not been shown. Images circulating online are fan concepts.

Will there be Town Hall 19 base layouts at launch?

Yes, from us and from everyone else — but only once the level exists and its building list is known. Anything published before then is not a TH19 layout.
