What makes a good TH16 hybrid base

A hybrid base keeps the Town Hall and the storages behind the same walls, so it defends trophies and loot at once. It is the honest compromise: slightly worse at each job than a dedicated base, and the right choice while you are upgrading and cannot afford to bleed either. The usual mistake is treating it as a trophy base with the storages moved in - the compartment layout has to earn its keep on both counts. Attackers at this level have everything: Root Riders, hero equipment, enough spell capacity to erase any one defence, and the ability to plan around whatever they scout. A base here wins by spreading value rather than by protecting a single strong point.
