What makes a good TH13 war base
War and CWL attacks are planned. Your opponent scouts your base, picks an army for what they see and has three minutes to use it. A war base cannot count on surprise, so its job is to make three stars hard to get. The Town Hall sits near the middle, compartments are small enough that Wall Breakers open only one at a time, and the Clan Castle is deep enough that its troops come out late. When war bases fail, it is usually through a single gap that lets the attacker walk to the core from one side. Attackers at this level bring heroes with equipment, siege machines and enough spells to take out any single defence, and they plan around what they scout. A base here holds up by spreading its strength, not by guarding one strong point.
