What makes a good TH12 trophy base
A trophy base defends while you are offline, against players who found you by skipping through opponents rather than by scouting you. Its aim is to make them skip you, or to hold them to one star. A central Town Hall stops cheap one-star snipes, splash defences cover the lanes an army walks in on, and traps go where an unplanned attack is likely to pass. This is where the common attack strategies start. Attackers bring Hog Riders, then Lava Hounds and Bowlers as they level, along with a full Clan Castle and heroes, so the compartments matter more than the level of any one defence.
