About these TH12 art and progress bases

Art bases are built to be looked at, and progress bases show a village partway through its upgrades. Neither is trying to hold a defence, so judge them on whether they are fun to build rather than on how they perform. Use one while you are shielded, or as a base to rebuild when you have finished pushing. This is where the standard armies arrive. Attackers bring hog riders, lava hounds and bowlers, a filled Clan Castle and heroes worth using, so compartment layout starts to matter more than the level of any single defence.

About Town Hall 12

• Town Hall 12 unlocks Giga Tesla, Siege Machines, so layouts here have to find room for them without opening up the core.
• Army camps hold 280 housing space at this level, which is what an attacker can bring against these bases.
