What makes a good TH12 farming base
A farming base protects storages, not trophies. The Gold and Elixir Storages sit in the middle and the Dark Elixir Storage deepest of all, while the Town Hall is often left outside the walls. You accept losing some trophies, because while you are upgrading the loot matters more than your place in the league. This is where the common attack strategies start. Attackers bring Hog Riders, then Lava Hounds and Bowlers as they level, along with a full Clan Castle and heroes, so the compartments matter more than the level of any one defence.
