What's new at TH10
- Town Hall 10 adds two Inferno Towers. Set to one target they melt tanks and heroes, and set to several they hold off swarms.
- Attackers unlock Miners, which tunnel under walls, Bowlers, and the Clone and Bat Spells.
What TH10 bases defend against
- Miners with Healers moving under the walls from one defence to the next.
- Bowlers and Witches pushing through the core while Freeze Spells hold the Infernos.
Common TH10 base mistakes
- Inferno Towers on the wrong mode for the attacks the base gets.

Choosing a TH10 base
Which layout you want depends on what you are protecting. A war base is built to stop three stars from an attacker who scouted you first. A trophy base defends while you are offline against players skipping through opponents. A farming base gives up the Town Hall to keep the storages safe, because loot matters more than trophies while you are upgrading. A hybrid does both jobs a little worse than either, and it is often the right choice while you cannot afford to lose either one. This is where the common attack strategies start. Attackers bring Hog Riders, then Lava Hounds and Bowlers as they level, along with a full Clan Castle and heroes, so the compartments matter more than the level of any one defence.
